You're somewhat expecting the whole place to look like a haunted
house, especially given the way the outside looks, but inside it's
quite normal. While it's spacious, it's fairly clean, and looks pretty
much like your grandmother's house, albeit larger. You breathe a soft
sigh of relief when you realize she's probably not going to con you
into doing major interior repair.
"How are you with animals?" she asks quietly, smiling at you as kindly
as possible.
"Uhh, I'm not too bad with them," you reply, assuming she must have
some sort of old person pet, like a parrot, or a cat, or a lap dog.
"Do you think you could feed my Precious?" she asks.
"I think I could handle that," you replied in an indulgent voice.
"Oh, how wonderful!" she says delightedly. The old woman heads to the
refrigerator, pulling out a moderately sized pig's leg. You realize
that Precious is far from the average sized dog...this is something
that a big dog would chew on. Something Great Dane sized, or possibly
even larger.
"Just head down the stairs," she tells you, her voice still cheery. "
Precious will be SO happy to meet someone new!"
