Right at that moment, a piece of paper fell from out of now where. It
floated down right into their lap. Kyle and Owen gave a worried glance
to each other before picking up the paper.
Kyle tried to bring the paper close to their faces, but Owen tried
pulling it away. "Kyle, I don't have my glasses on. I can't read it
that close."
"Well I don't see how you can read it so far away." Kyle and Owen
continued a tug of war on the paper before Kyle said, "Dad... remember
what we just talked about. Let me read it."
Owen sighed, letting go of the paper. Kyle brought it close to his
face and read out loud. "Dear Kyle and Owen- You two should really
keep track of your possessions. Two other boys will be spending some
much needed quality time together. If you have any questions, your
brother/son will be coming through the door any minute. -Your 'friend'
from the store"
Kyle and Owen stared at each other in disbelief. "I told you it was a
bad idea to trust Josh with the chains. He's so..."
Just as the note had said, Josh popped in through the front door. "Hey
Kyle... Dad, I have some books about magic. One of them looks really
promising. It actually talks about the eagle chains."
