The trip was long and only kindled Hannah's anxieties over her future. At the same time, having been the focus of her family, friends, and even the media for weeks, it was something of a relief to be reduced to mere property. Hannah knew her new life would not be easy, but it would at least lack the pressures of human society. No need to keep her figure, get good grades, meet a nice guy. These feelings were beginning to confuse her porcine brain, which was largely capable of human thought processes but was quickly developing some basic animal instincts.
One such instinct being her attraction to Steve. The two were seperated by cages in the back of the truck, but the chemistry between them was strong. "You think they kept us together because we were transformed at the same time?" Steve asked.
"Maybe this guy just thought we were magnificent beasts," Hannah laughs.
"Of course, how could I not realise that?"
Hannah's smile dissipated, her face gloomy. "What do you think they're going to do with us?"
Steve paused. "Long term? I don't know. Short term?" An awkward smile formed. "I think we're going to be, uh, pig... partners."
There was a silence, and then they laughed.

"Okay you two. Welcome to your new home," the farmer said, undoing the latch on their cages and letting them tentatively alight the truck. "Come with me."
Hannah and Steve trotted after the farmer as they arrived at their new home.
