The helmet is green,and near it lies what appears to be mould green
chainmail that looks like its been stretched apart.
You lift up the old helmet and as you turn it about in your hands
something rattles inside.
To your horror the ivory object inside falls out and lands with
a thump on the mouldy chain mail,knocking the links about.
You glance down at the object that fell out of the helmet
and theres a flash of red light from the skulls eye sockets
that sears into your brain.
Before the darkness sweeps over your mind,you get a glimpse of
what was hidden under the chainmail.A flattened human skeleton with
shards of a enormous dragon's egg resting within and around the
ancient human bones.
Mercifully you are unconcious whilst the new egg within your human
body expands and bursts out of the flattened torn tatters of your
body.
When you finally reawaken,you're awfully hungry and the very
firm thought
< Gosh,I'm so hungry I could eat a cow>
That thought gives way to the urge to roar,stretch out those arms
sprouting from your back and smash something with your restless
scaly tail.
You suddenly do all three and your egg explodes outwards as
all 5 tons of you enter the world as a red scaled dragoness.
Now being fully aware of what you now are,your front left paw
comes down on a cocunut sized object covered in blonde hair .
The object collapses under the weight of your body and you
raise your paw closer to your eyes to sniff ,lick and eye the thing.
It slowly dawns in that reptillian brain of yours that the sticky
thing enclosed by your mighty talons is a flattened human female
skull.
<Duh> you think as you try to recall if you know any human females.
You don't.
Nor does the awakening male nearby.
The two of you stare at the pile of dead human material and all the
shards of dragon egg lying about the cave and try to puzzle out the
connection without success.
After a few frustrated snarls as you scrape the pieces of dead human
off your talons,paws and scales
you promptly take a long nap.
