You all know how "superheroes" "save the day" from "villians"? Well, what you think
are unselfish acts of kindness are really not. Me? My name is Drake Vanderbelt,
though most people refer to me as "Dr. Evil". Yes, I am a doctor, but by most
definitions I am not evil. You see, I run the World Villian Federation (or WVF), the
largest organization of supervillians in the world. And though many of my subordinates
would like to think they are "evil", they are actually under control. My job is to provide
jobs for "superheroes" by creating crime, mayhem, and destruction. Notice I did not
say death. No one in the WVF is permitted to kill anyone, lest they meet the same
fate. Governments pay superheroes to protect them and their people, superheroes pay
us to keep them in business. I had never actually been "evil". That is until the
superheroes banned together in a plot to make booku bucks. They revealed the
existence of the WVF, portraying it to be the embodiment of evil. They ambushed my
headquarters and destroyed everything, killing all but two of my employees in the
process. The heroes were praised for this truly evil act and were thanked with the
paycheck of a lifetime, literally. Millions of dollars every month. But their happiness
won't last. It is now my mission to free the people of the world from these coniving
liars by assasinating every "hero" involved in that awful carnage. The people may call
this evil, but it really isn't. In short, heroes = villians, villians = heroes.
My power is very unique; I can copy any power I have witnessed, and because I've
met every hero, I have every power. Cool, right? Unfortunately, using a copied power
takes up a lot of energy, quickly making me tired. My two remaining allies are
Changeling (who, it turns out, is still alive) and Catwoman. Our base is hidden in an
abandoned mine in West Virginia, though we have many outposts around the world.
Hopefully we can save the world from these true villians.
