Derek eagerly tried the topical solution. He slowly dipped his hand in to get a decent portion of the Lance-made-solution, but he found he couldn't pull his hand away. Before he was even able to say anything, all of the orange liquid quickly covered Derek, releasing a blue liquid into the barrel in the process. As soon as the liquids were done exchanging places, Lance was now standing where Derek once stood. He was also naked, showing off all of Lance's perfections.
"Uh, wow. I suppose it just switches essences instead. That means we need to find more useless hunks if we ever want to do anything." Steve said, crossing his arms as he looked Derek over. "You look exactly like him. This is going to be a bit awkward and hard to explain to people who know him."
Derek looked himself over, flicked his forearm, pinched his skin, flexed his arm, and so on. Then he looked at Steve with a stern, piercing glare.
"What's the matter?" Steve asked, a bit confused.
"I'll tell you what's the matter..." Derek said before swiftly tackling Steve to the ground, pinning him down as he put Steve in a headlock.
"Derek what the f-" then it clicked in Steve's mind. "Oh crap! That means Derek is in the barrel and you're actually-"
"Lance? No shit. You're going to get it, you freak. I've been trying to get rid of you from day one so I could have this room to myself. If I knew you were going to do something like this, I would've just buried you alive. It's not like anyone would miss you." He seethed, applying more pressure to his hold.
"I-it was a joke! We were going to turn you back!" Steve lied, trying to fight back. Alas, Lance was too strong.
"Well since you like science and junk, I think I'll use some of your little projects on you." Lance chuckled, the intensity in his voice gone. Seconds later, Steve passed out.
When Steve awoke moments later, he seen he was tied to a chair, looking as Lance began dumping his friend's essence into a large container before sealing it off.
"Oh cool, you're awake. I was just finished putting your nerdy friend away so he couldn't cause any problem. That seal's kind of permanent. The only way to get it open would be to burn it. I sure hope he doesn't catch on fire." Lance said with a smile, almost as if he were having a normal conversation.
"So what are you going to do?!" Steve asked, a mix of anger and fear crossing his face.
"I don't know. I mean, you have so many nice bottles here. I'll choose the nicest looking one and then you can drink up, okay?" Lance chuckled as he began to skim over the bottles.
