Seated in the barber's chair, Dan watched the man pull out a can of shaving cream. "It's a catgirl you want to be, right?"
"Yep," Dan said, still having trouble believing he was going through with the idea.
"Then you're gonna need to lose the body hair, or you'll blow the whole look." He covered Dan in a barber's cape and sprayed some cream into his hand. "First things first, let's get rid of any pesky stubble."
Dan was surprised how fast the old man worked. In just a few minutes, he had expertly shaven Dan's face to the point where stubble was non-existent, and left not a single scratch. Dan had barely even felt the razor blade. It was undoubtedly the best shave he'd ever had.
"And the rest, too," the man said. "At least, the parts that'll be visible. Bring your arms out, if you please."
Hesitantly, Dan pulled his arms out from under the cape. The man went to work lathering them in shaving cream and carefully but quickly shaving him from the shoulders to the backs of his hands. Dan knew he'd never have thought to shave his body hair for the costume, but could easily see the difference it made to enhance the look.
At this point, he had no problem when the man asked him to hike up his shorts a little so his legs could be taken care of. From the thighs on down, his leg hair was completely removed, leaving nice, smooth skin.
"You definitely go out of your way to make a costume work," Dan complimented.
"Thank'ya kindly," the man replied. "Now, we could go farther. Take care of all your hair, in case you remove parts of the costume, or we could go right on to the next step."
