You were given an expensive free ticket to a magic show. It starts in
a few minutes, and you have nothing better to do, so you go. You're
surprised that it's a full house, and figure that the show must be
good. You chat briefly with the people next to you asking about the
show, but before you can get passed the pleasantries and generalities,
the house lights dim, and the curtain goes up.
A cloud of smoke and a beautiful girl and a handsome man appear.
They're both dressed in skimpy sequined outfits with sequined top
hats. They apparently are the assistants, as they each hold up a
cardboard sign. They cross to opposite sides of the stage and put
their card on the easel next to each drape of the open curtain.
The guy's sign reads "WELCOME TO THE AMAZING MORPHO'S MAGICAL
EXPERIENCE"
The female assistant's sign reads, "WHERE THE AUDIENCE IS PART OF THE
SHOW."
The woman bows and flips the card on the easel. It now reads,
"Without further adieu!"
The guy flips his card, "Do we have a volunteer from the audience?"
A spot light dances over the crowd, and locks on you.
A voice from the stage booms, "How about you young man?"
All eyes turn to the stage, and there is Morpho center stage in black
tuxedo with a red vest, black cloak with red lining and a black silk
top hat. No smoke, no flash. He's just there. Had he been there all
along unnoticed? Or did he just walk out while the spot light was
moving? Or what?
You open your mouth...
