Crouching next to her exact double, Katie shushed Declan with one finger to her lips. Then, she lifted up 2 things. In one hand was the medallion, and in the other was a diaper.
Declan figured that it must have been left over from when Denise used to baby sit.
Katie touched the medallion to Denise's arm along with the diaper. Denise shifted in her sleep from feeling the little zap from the medallion but didn't wake up. Immediately, she began to shrink. Denise's clothes seemed to deflate around her rapidly youthening body. Her change progressed even faster than Declan or Katie's change, which made sense since she would be changing a lot more than either or them had. Declan could only watch it all, powerless to stop it. Denise's chest deflated. Her legs retreated up her jeans. Her face rounded. Soon enough, she was a little girl, and still she shrank. Her T-shirt fit her like a dress as she entered her toddler years. Then, it all but swallowed her up as the changes ceased leaving her a bald infant.
Katie smiled at Denise as she put the medallion away in the pocket of her robe.
"She's sooo cute," she said, and gently lifted the sleeping infant Denise off the couch, still wrapped in her T-shirt as though wearing a onesie. Denise began to instinctively suck her thumb. "Aww," cooed Katie.
Declan followed as Katie walked Denise to Denise's bedroom and set her on the bed. Then, she gently slid the diaper onto Denise. Katie left Denise sleeping soundly in the middle of her bed, pulled open one of Denise's dresser drawers, and retrieved another T-shirt from it.
As Katie left the room, Declan all but jumped out of her way. Ignoring Declan, Katie headed to the living room. When Declan caught up to her again, Katie was naked. The robe she had been wearing lay at her feet.
Declan stared at the robe. The medallion was probably still inside of it. If only she could get it away from Katie...
Quickly, Katie slid on her sister's panties and clumsily fastened her bra in place. Next came Denise's T-shirt and jeans. Standing there, fully dressed in Denise's clothes, Katie was a perfect double of her formerly older sister.
"Perfect," she said as she examined the fit of Denise's clothes. "No one will know the difference."
Declan finally worked up the courage to speak. "Katie," she said. "what are you planning on doing now?"
Katie walked to the mat by the door and slipped on a pair of Denise's sandals.
"I'm going out, of course," said Katie. Declan glanced back at the robe on the floor. If Katie left, Declan could grab the medallion and hide it somewhere until she was ready to use it later.
Declan held her breath as Katie approached the door.
"Later, kiddo," Katie said and reached for the doorknob, but she stopped. Slapping her hand to her forehead, she said, "Duh! Almost forgot it." She turned, and Declan sighed as Katie retrieved the medallion from the robe pocket.
"I have plans for you," Katie said to the medallion and slipped it into her back jeans pocket. "Okay, now I'm out." She opened the door and stepped outside. As she closed the door behind her, Katie called to Declan, "Keep an eye on your baby sis while I'm away. Bye!" The door shut, and Declan felt very small and alone in the silence of her own house. What was she going to do?
Then, she heard a sound that made her cringe: a baby was crying in Denise's room.
