Back in the days of exploration some 300 plus years ago ,there was a sailing
vessel. The vessel set sail for a whole new world of adventure. The crew consisted of
some slaves and a few indentured servents from Europe and they were headed to
North America. Everything was going fine for the captain and its crew. Of course they
treated the 10 slaves and handful of servants nuttin, but scum. The slaves and
servants got together to form a plan. They would overthrow the captain and its crew
and find the nearest island to escape to and make a life for themselves. Luck was in
their corner and the crew got drunk and mother nature gave a hand in stirring up a
wicked storm. Since the Captain and crew were terrible swimmers and were pirates,
the slaves would be doing any civilzed nation a favor. One young male slave found
weapons and the other spotted a body of land about 5 miles away. The whole crew
was in the galley and it had one room and one exit. The door was bolted shut quietly
so the captain and crew could not escape. Then quietly the only escape boat was
loaded on with the slaves and servants. The ship was set on fire. The crew died of
smoke inhalation and burns. Within 4 hours in broad starlight sky the ship was burnt to
a crisp and eventually sank. By then the 20 remaining survivors watched on and then
decided to dismantle the boat if any ship come looking for them. It would be the last
time for at least 100 years that any ship would step foot on this abandoned island.
