With a flick of her tail and a push from her arms, Lydia popped out of the water and landed on her round muscular bottom on the pool's edge. Her movements in the water were powerful and graceful. Her body and her control was so well coordinated you cannot help but think of her as always having been a mermaid.
Lydia tossed her red locks and shot you a glance over her shoulder. It was a look that called you to her. You get up and with the best calm walk you can muster you rush to sit beside the lithe beauty. As you sit on the pool edge you dangle your legs into the water beside her long slick body. Your legs seem awkward and stubby compared to her.
Lydia laughs and kisses you on the cheek before laying back on her elbows exposing her body. She dangles her fins in the water and idly kicks at the water making waves in the pool. Carefully you reach out a hand and start to caress her tail. You run your hand along the smooth spandex of her body and trace circles over the space that would have been between her legs. Now there was only muscle. Lydia breathed slowly watching you do so.
"You really like me like this?" she asked quietly.
You pause and listen to the rain fall on the deck roof that hangs over the pool. The diffuse pounding intensifies and wains as you dreamily draw images on the wet fabric of her body. You turn slowly to show her your smile. You do not really want to admit that this is something you want more than ever.
She can read it in your face. "It's only temporary," she said.
The way she looked over her body you wonder if she wished it were not the case. Lydia leaned all the way back to stretch over the warm concrete. She started to trace small circles around one of her nipples with a finger while the other hand rested on her stomach. Her gloved hands slipped about on the wet spandex skin as she stared at the ceiling.
"I wonder why the genie made my suit a part of my body?" she said to no one in particular.
You remain quiet letting her mind wonder freely.
"I'm soft to the touch. It's weird with the gloves but also so very natural."
You twist and lean down to kiss her. You slide your hand up her body to her breast and start playing gently. Lydia responds and she arches her back to push her large breasts into your body. You break the kiss and look deep into her eyes. "How long do you want to remain a mermaid?"
"Why?" she asks quietly.
"Because, I need to know before we go any further," you say.
"Are you the one that turns me back?" she asked.
