The World of Chaos seemingly operates at random, with portals possibly forming in any
place and leading to any world. And yet, there seems to be a higher power than Chaos
governing the laws of this world, as it would be supremely unlikely of the countless worlds
the portal that Eodora, Igna and Lisa traveled through lead to Dana's homeworld, an earth
under the tyranny of Astara.
But the randomness doesn't matter. The realm of the Goddesses', the Kingdom of Quell
and the twisted world ruled by Astara were now tied together by the World of Chaos and
fate itself.
After the portal had dumped Eodora, Igna and Lisa onto the hellish landscape, the trio got
to their feet and looked around. Lisa, while still disgusted with and not used to his male
body, took it upon himself to stand at arms and give the area a quick scan before returning
to Igna.
"Sorceress, if you would be so kind as to rid me of this form..."
"In a moment," Igna said, rubbing her sore horns. "This land doesn't seem to be Quell, and
a few identification and safety spells take priority over"--
Lisa grabbed Igna in desperation before she could finish. "Listen to me! You must get me
out of this filthy form! I can already feel my mind being corrupted by the foul thoughts of
men. If you have any respect for what's good in this world you will change me back now!"
A flash of gold and Princess Eodora was in front of him. As a yellow-furred catgirl she was
still about a head shorter than Lisa, but she still managed to be intimidating. Her new body
almost seemed to be taking over and turning her from a soft-spoken princess into a feral
beast.
"Pardon me," Eodora growled, "but you will let go of her and take that back."
"Take what back?" Lisa asked.
"I'm not sure of your upbringing, but I was raised to pay respect all people, regardless of
gender. You speak of men as if we're some sort of plague, and I will not tolerate that."
"We're? You used to be male?" Lisa released Igna to point at Eodora. "Why, y-you hypocrite!
As if you seem to be fully accepting of your female body!"
"I don't like being a woman as much as you don't seem to enjoy being a man, but did I ever
call women the scum of the earth?" Eodora's eyes were narrowed. Her teeth were bared
and her paws were quivering, and it only seemed her noble upbringing was keeping her
from clawing at Lisa. "It goes both ways. And your attitude is really starting to wear me
thin."
"That's enough!" Igna cried, sounding as authoritative as an eight-year-old could sound.
She managed to get the surprised attention of both of them. "You're lucky enough that I
possess transformative magic. There are poor creatures out there whose minds, bodies and
souls have been changed in some form for eternity. You know Astara's goons? They likely
have no way of returning to what they once were. So unless you want to end up as
nymphomaniac succubi, you two will bear with these forms and each other for a bit longer
while we all try to save Quell. Is that clear?"
Igna went back to concentrating on her magic, and both Eodora and Lisa looked to each
other sheepishly.
"Forgive me, milady," Eodora said, half-bowing, then clumsily curtsying. "I fear this bestial
form's aggression took control of me. I was completely out of line."
"No, Princess," Lisa said, smiling, "I was out of line. You're right. The world I live in tends to
view men... differently than yours."
"Well, why don't we try and discuss our cultures before we have any more
misunderstandings?" Eodora said politely. "We seem to have some time."
