Jared was on the high school wrestling team. He was their best wrestler, and had been undefeated since he joined the team. Coach had a new strategy this year though. He knew who all the best guys were from each school, and they were all in different weight classes. Thanks to a new invention he could now change the weight class of any guy on his team.
His plan was to change his star wrestler to be whatever weight class the other team's best player was in. He only decided on this because Jared didn't fluctuate in weight very much, and he was always in the top weight class, weighing in around the middle of it.
Jared was quite attractive, even to coach. Though he didn't admit it. He always had fantasies about wrestling with this student. Jared had these crystal blue eyes that seemed to sparkle. He was a built guy, and being a senior, he ruled the school. He was about 6'4" which was another reason why his weight class was so high all the time. His golden hair had girls chasing after him all the time.
He really wished his looks could get the guys after him, but not much of a chance with that at his school. It was a small town, so everyone knew everyone. That was why no one knew that he was secretly gay. He preferred the whole town not knowing. Their coach was lucky to have gotten his hands on this beta device to test it out. It still hadn't been fully tested on humans, and they figured the best place to start was a small town.
He hadn't told Jared what the plan for the year was. He knew that Jared wouldn't like it at all. He called Jared into his office the day that practice was supposed to start.
"Yeah coach?" Jared said as he walked in to coach's office.
"The first match is coming up soon, and I would like to get your weight class in quickly," coach said.
"Alright coach," Jared replied. "Only because my weight class doesn't change often. If it did, it would be too soon."
He really just needed the new scale to recognize Jared and store him on its system. Then when he found out the weight classes of the other students, he would input Jared's new weight into the scale. Jared stepped on the new scale and waited.
"I've never seen this scale before," Jared said.
"It's new, state of the art," Coach replied.
The scale read 200 lbs on the dot.
"Alright so I'll sign you up for the highest weight class then," Coach said as he input Jared's name into the scale and it saved.
"Sounds good," Jared answered.
They both left coach's office to start practice. About a week later, coach had found out what the best wrestler's weight class was at their first game.
