Rick had just received his new iPhone and was anxious to try some apps on it. He received an email from Apple offering him a chance to test an app. He briefly considered whether he should download an app that was in testing or not but he decided to go ahead and test it.
Once he had downloaded the app he read the instructions and immediately went to the settings menu to lock the app to him. He figured a week as an object would be long enough for him if he chose to become one. He decided to set the scan range to Building. He wanted to have new memories even though he would always be aware of the changes so he set it up like that. After he had the settings the way he wanted them he hit the save button. "This isn't going to work," he muttered to himself as the app scanned the house.
To his surprise the app brought up an overhead view of the basement where his room was. "Well I'll be a monkey's uncle," he said shaking his head. "This app really works."
To test it he decided to change the color of his shirt. He tapped on himself then swiped his fingers like the instructions said and was amazed that it brought up his statistics. Swiping across it brought up what he was wearing. He tapped his shirt and changed the color from white to baby pink as a joke. He then hit save and immediately his shirt changed color to baby pink. He was stunned that it had actually changed.
He began thinking about what he wanted to try with this app. He could change himself or he could change someone else.
