The bedroom door creaks open, and Jeff's cousin Sid steps into the
room. He quickly closes the door behind him. Then his sneaky behavior
changes into a swagger as he walks toward Jeff the Navy Seal action
figure standing on his chair.
"Oh, yeah, Jeffy, I knew you'd be dumb enough to do it. You never read
the instructions when we were kids, and you didn't now either. When I
suggested the clothing transformation option to give your physique a
proper makeover, I immediately referenced your GI Joe collection. You
know I've wanted to blow those guys up since I was 9 or 10. Now you're
a 12 inch tall action figure that moves. Oh, I'm going to have fun
with you."
Jeff backs toward the edge of the chair and looks down considering.
"Sid, what's the matter with you? I'm not a toy! Why are you staring
at my crotch? Are you having a relapse? Maybe you should go back to
your room and lie down? Come back when you're feeling better, Sid. Go
lie down now!"
Sid paused. He blinked and rubbed his temples. He had spent six years
in therapy, after the incident in his backyard. He had sworn the toys
attacked, but finally he admitted that that was impossible. Was he
having a relapse? Was he delusional? No. He smiled evilly, Jeff was
just toying with him. The Chronivac was real, and the doofus had
really tried to turn himself into a muscle stud like his GI Joe
figures. He was now a 12 inch living doll ready to make Sid's dreams
come true.
