"Well... I can't get my powers until I'm sixteen, right?" Trevor
asked, testing the waters. Peter nodded, not sure where he was going
with this. "And you can make people older, right?" At this, Ty and
Peter both caught on.
"Whoa, what? Will that even work?" Ty asked, looking to Peter.
"I don't know, I didn't think of it..." Peter replied.
"Well, unless I specifically need to wait for my birthday, it could
work..." Trevor said, his hand to his chin as if deep in thought.
"Whoa, wait, what?" Mike asked, his hands outstretched in a 'tell me
something' manner. He was used to being kept out of the loop, but he
wasn't going to stop trying now.
"He wants us to try making him 15, or older than that, now and see if
it gives him his powers early... But we aren't sure it would work. It
would be a waste of time if it doesn't and all we did was make him
physically 15, just a year," Peter said.
"Then how about you make me physically, mentally, and emotionally 15?
Then, unless the clause of the powers is 'on your fifteenth birthday'
instead of 'when you turn fifteen', it should work, right?" Trevor
said thoughtfully.
"Fine, you have a point," Peter said, defeated. He gestured for the
youngest of the group to take a look at himself. In that moment,
Trevor began to get taller- by just about an inch- and his body
sprouted a few more hairs, and his hair grew out a little bit.
Something deep within him changed... But his mental and emotional
changes were slim to none, mostly because he had already been quite
mature for his age.
