The following morning, Ty decided to add a few more features to Jeremy, who was still a bust standing on his dresser. The room was still dark, and Ty had wondered what time it was. Ty turned towards his friend, and wished for a digital clock.
Suddenly, a digital display appeared on Jeremy’s thick bull-sized neck, indicating the time in bright, green numbers. Ty knew right away what time it was. He made Jeremy into his human radio-alarm clock!
“Hmmm… Good morning, Ty…” Jeremy yawned.
“Hey, dude… Give me some light!” Ty ordered.
“How?”
“Just look this way and blink your eyes!” Ty instructed.
Jeremy blinked as he turned to face Ty. Right away, bright, white light started to shine from Jeremy’s eyes, illuminating Ty’s bedroom.
“There! You make a great lamp!” Ty grinned.
“Ooooh! My eyes! Light is coming from my eyes!” Jeremy gasped.
“Yeah! Ty said, as he got up and sat down at his chair. He rolled the chair up to Jeremy, until he was sitting right in front of him.
Suddenly, Jeremy’s pectorals split apart and a black display screen appeared to come out of his chest. A flat drawer pulled out of Jeremy’s torso, just below the screen, containing a keyboard and a trackball. The screen lit up and started loading the Operating System.
“There! You’re now loading Windows-HI” Ty explained.
“What is that?” Jeremy asked.
“Windows-HI is the latest version of Windows written for the Human Interface, which is YOU!” Ty grinned.
Ty pulled up Word and Excel version 15 and started working on his paper for school.
“There! All done! Can you save that for me?” Ty asked Jeremy after he was done typing.
“Sure! There… I saved your file.”
“See? You’re my TV, my lamp, my clock, my radio, and my laptop!” Ty chuckled.
“Radio?” Jeremy wondered.
“Just keep your mouth open and start playing some music!” Ty instructed.
Jeremy opened his mouth, and after a few seconds, music started coming out of it! Ty took a CD from his music collection and slid that into a small groove in Jeremy’s chest. Now, Jeremy started to play the songs on Ty’s CD, nice and loud.
“There! You can play CD’s and you can even play songs on the radio. Not only that, but I can plug in my iPod into your arm as well!” Ty said, while pointing at the row of USB ports on Jeremy’s arm. “You’re the most advanced media center in the world!”
Jeremy just grinned. He just loved it when Ty changed him like that. And now he had the ability to play music without having to do anything!
After an hour or so, Ty grabbed a CD containing a game, and popped it into the CD-rom on Jeremy’s chest.
“You can also play all video games for Nintendo, Playstation, Wii, and Xbox! I gave you the ability to play any video game on earth!” Ty said, as he plugged a video game controller into Jeremy’s arm.
“Oohhh this is so cool! I can watch you play your games!” he laughed.
Eventually Dustin walked in the room and saw how much fun Ty was having with Jeremy.
“Hey Dustin… Wanna play a video game with me on Jeremy?” Ty asked him.
“Yeah, Dustin! You can play games on me… Watch TV… Write papers, listen to the radio… Just about anything!” Jeremy added.
“Uhh… S-s-sure… “ Dustin stuttered, as he grabbed the other game controller.
“Tomorrow, I’m taking you to school like this!” Ty chuckled. “I’ll just grow you back your legs, and I’ll have fun with you at school!”
“I can’t wait!” Jeremy laughed.
Ty knew that Jeremy would be a hit at school…
