I was rather uneasy to see this myth come to be real. As the satyr waved he to come other satyr's jumped to their hooves. Suddenly a throng of satyr's are motioing me to join them near the roaring fire.
Part of me wants to join them and talk as another part of me say run like hell and get away. Both idea's seem so correct I wonder why I'm getting one big bad hard on.
They have started to jog toward me all seeming to be happy I came. I thought I knew my mind as I turned to speedily make my way down the path.
BONK! and I was down sitting on my butt. There in front of me stood a large male satyr. His eyes flashed as though he was decidedly angered by me or my leaving.
"You have been welcomed to join our chat! Now you turn away and make us feel bad! When we feel bad about someone it's time to help them change their manners, don't you think so?" asked the big satyr.
Just then I was surrounded by the group of satyr's from near the fire. Some tall, some fat, some thin, but all as sexy creatures to be sure. The group suddenly parted as a slender and overly sensual looking satyress pushed her way through the crowd.
Standing to one side of me as I sat on the cold ground she stood. The big satyr standing in front of me and his expression not changed a lick.
"Uncle Buck what seems to be the trouble here?" asked the sweet looking satyress.
Clearing his throat he spoke gruffly, "The man came and was invited to join our chat. He has insulted us by not accepting and turned to go away without even a how do you do!" said Uncle Buck.
"No satyr worth his salt would do that to any man, how dare you do it to us?" she asked with an angered tone.
Still sitting on the ground and looking up I put up my defense. "You must admit that a man coming by and seeing a band of satyr's would think to be a little careful. I don't know your intentions, might be good, or might be bad who could say! I thought to leave was the best way to save myself from any mischief from you, or by me." I said thinking this to quell their anger.
As the big satyr bent over and looked me in the eyes he said, "The man is mine and he shall dance to my tune!"
The female satyr kneeled down and looking me eye to eye she said, "Given the choice of leaving now, or dancing to Uncle Bucks tunes which would you like to do?"
I looked at her and then at Uncle Buck and back at her I said, "Please may I leave now!"
Her friendly smile changed quickly to a frown as she yelled aloud, "Take him Uncle Buck, enjoy you thrill with him till midnight, but then bring him to me for his final tributes!"
She stood up and walked out of the crowd of satyrs who now looked with evil eyes at stupid ole' me.
