He stood, dumbfounded at the sight before him. The girl was naked,
screaming bloody murder. He regained his composure, and thought for a
moment. He spoke, "I wish that she was wearing her clothes, and that
her, and everyone else around but me, would forget this event
happened. The girl clothes faded into existence, the threads re-
weaving before his eyes. Then, everyone's face went blank for a
moment, and then they went about their day as they had been. "I wonder
if I can change the past.", he thought. He walked into an alleyway,
and leaned against the wall. He spoke quietly, "I wish my father had
wanted to name me Vergil, and had won the name argument." He pulled
out his wallet, and looked at his driver's license. Plain as day, his
license read, "Grey, Vergil Malvagio" A new memory entered his head.
It was his mother saying that Vergil was an evil name, and that, if he
was to be named Vergil, she would choose the middle name to be
Malvagio, which is Italian for evil. He looked down at the ring.
"So...Are you sentient?" A voice spoke directly into his mind, "No.
This ring is a creation. It works by altering quantum waves in such a
way as to manipulate light, time, matter, energy, and force, to make
any change to anything, that any being could possibly want." "Wow.",
He thought. A new train of though rushed through his head; "Well,
since I got the name I want, why not the body, and clothes? I wish I
was 6 feet, 1 inch tall, lean, but muscular, flat, not over defined
abs. I want hair down to my waist. I want to be pale, with white hair,
and piercing blue eyes." His dull cow-brown eyes brightened to an
intense blue, as his body lengthened, and his hair lightened and grew.
His changes finished with him tying his long hair into a simple
ponytail. "Now, for clothes. I wish I was wearing a black corduroy
blazer, with a dark blue silk shirt, and a black tie. I with i had
black cufflinks, with a blue stone in them. I want black trousers,
with black socks, and ankle length black zipper boots." As he finished
each description the clothes he was wearing changed, into what he
wanted. He looked down, in satisfaction, and made one more wish, "I
wish this world was a little more...gothic. By that, I mean, Vampyres,
and Lycans exist. Not many, just a few. But, I also wish that they
will grow into the thousands in the next few years." As he chuckled
lightly, he saw the sun setting, and looking at the rising moon, he
saw a winged figure fly across. "I guess, I get hybrids for free." He
smiled as he thought of the new world he lived in....
