Josh was grinning, but it soon faded when he looked and saw his brother still attached to his shoulder. "Dam it! I thought that would work!"
"What the hell?! Why did you do that?!" Kyle was furious now. "Did you even think that maybe, just maybe, we needed that to get apart?!" Kyle picked up the shattered remains and glared at Josh, "Now look at it! We can't use it like that!"
"Hey! Putting it together did this... I thought breaking it apart would split us!" Josh huffed and walked away, but Kyle was unprepared, and they stumbled and fell. Josh slammed his fist on the floor and shoved against Kyle, "I'm already sick of this!"
"I'm glad it didn't work!" Kyle grunted, and Josh gave him a strange look. "If it made us two headed because it was two headed, smashing it might have done to same to us!"
Both boys were pretty steamed. Each of them was trying to move, but they weren't working together, so they flailed about on the floor, rolling one way than the other. They had resorted to pushing on each other again, and blaming the other one for what had happened.
"This is stupid." Josh said as they finally managed to sit up.
"Ya, it is." Kyle agreed, "Of all the people on the face of the earth, I had to get stuck to you."
Josh just looked at Kyle for a moment then shook his head, "At least we can both agree on that." They sat and stared around at the broken glass, the chairs they had knocked over, and what remained of the chain. "Now what do we do?"
"You're guess is as good as mine..." Kyle let out a sigh and looked to his older brother.
