Laura was just considering her options, when seh heard June's voice:
"Dustin, Laura. Breakfast is ready in 5 minutes. Hurry up!"
She entered the bathroom to brush her teeths, but just as she entered Dustin screamed.
"Stay out, I am in the shower."
"Sorry.", said Laura and closed the door.
"I am almost ready.", was Dustins muffled answer through the door.
A minute later he left the bath and excused himself for his tone, but he won't shock Laura with his naked view.
That instead was a shock for Laura. The old Dustin, even after his loss of height, never excused himself for anything.
Perhaps it was her change of gender which made Dustin a bit friendlier.
When she sat down for breakfast, Laura realize that not only Dustin, but even June and Mark were now friendly and pleasant to Laura.
It seems that by her change of reality the relationship to her foster-parents had been changed, too.
When June asked them what they wanted to do on this saturday, Dustin said something about meeting some friends at the mall with you.
As a boy, Dustins friends only used you as a punching bag und Ty didn't even has friends.
So the idea of seeing more of her new life appealed her.
