It was Merlin again! He was "floating" over to Bobby rapidly as he grabbed his hand. "Hey! Whats the deal? I thought we had a deal!" Merlin examined the ring
intensely, then let out a long sigh "Well, SHAZBAT!" he yelled in disgust. "Well my boy, I hate to tell you this, but you have got on the wrong ring, but the right ring
too" Bobby looked at him strangely. "What the heck does that mean?"
"It means" Merlin said angrily, "that I am going to turn my assistant Toban into a toad next time I see him! Look, it seems that Toban mixed up the rings and I
therefore gave you the wrong ring, they look so much alike that I did not even question it before, but then I found the ring you were supposed to have back in the
shop where I usually keep the eye-of-newt."
"Well, can we make the switch?"
"Sorry, as I said before, once you put on the ring, you can't take it off. I am afraid that you are stuck with this one. But on the bright side, it is much more interesting
and a much more expensive ring than the one you bought"
"What does it do?" Bobby asked hesitantly.
"Well, basically, the same thing. However, with a few extra gliches. Ok, here they are; One, your ring can only effect females, Two, you can age or regress and
female you wish, BUT - and this is very important - if you age a female, you MUST find another female to take those years from first, then you have only a few
minutes to add those years to another female. Now, if you want to regress a female, the same thing applies, once you regress her, you have to find a female to add
those years too. You understand that?"
"Uh, I think so. One question. What happens say if I regress a female and I can not make up my mind who to add those years to before my time is up?"
Merlin smiled, "Simple, they will be added to the female nearest to you when the time expires, which is exactly 10 minutes from your initial spell."
"Alright, I think I've got it"
"GOOD! Now excuse me while I go find and torture a particularly dense lower minion who works for me"
Merlin suddenly dissapeared in a whirl of smoke. Wow, this ring was certainly more powerful. I could now age OR regress any female, and only females, that I
wished. But I better make sure I follow the rules about draining or adding those used years to a another girl in time, or the results could be disasterous.
Bobby walked in the same direction he was heading when suddenly he saw.....
