"Here's your new home, Leo!" Ty said, gesturing for Leo to enter the house.
Leo prodded around the living room area until he saw a round carpet, which he thought was some sort of bedding to lay on. He got on all fours and tried to lay down, but found his new limbs didn't bend the same way as they previously did, so instead, he just splayed out and laid on his stomach.
"Are you tired?" Ty asked, kneeling next to Leo.
"No..." Leo hesitantly replied, followed by what sounded like a low, depressing growl.
"Are you sad?" Ty said, running his hand through Leo's hair to 'pet' his head.
Leo didn't respond, he just laid there. 'Well, no answer is just as good as saying yes!' Ty though, wondering how he could cheer Leo up. Then it hit him, there was one absolute way to at least look like they're having a good time even if they didn't do anything; tickling. Leo didn't even flinch or have the air forced out of him as Ty hopped on his back, which surprised Ty. Though it reminded him that Leo was mostly human, but probably way solid than most... Like a lion. Regardless, he figured Leo would be ticklish to some extent. He lifted up Leo's sweatshirt and began wiggling his fingers around on Leo's side, which sure enough made the lazy beast react. First Leo's body got real tense, followed by him squirming and laughing uncontrollably.
"T-Tyfwahahahahahaha!" Leo bellowed, his eyes tearing up from all the laughter. Leo then turned the tables, and pinned Ty to the ground so he could do what Ty just did. Now both Leo and Ty were laughing uncontrollably.
"S-stahaha-op! Stop!" Ty cried. Leo immediately stopped and jumped off of Ty, looking as frightened as can be.
"Oh no! Leo hurt Ty!"
"No, no, that's not it. I just couldn't catch my breath since you kept tickling me." Ty explained.
"Oh... That tickling? Leo like. It fun." Leo said, hopping back on top of Ty. Though this time, he was rubbing his stubble cheek up against Ty's. "Ty fun. Leo like Ty. Ty make Leo feel happy."
Ty tried to fend off the awkwardness, but decided to humor Leo and return his affection by rubbing his back. Ty figured Leo wasn't used to such kindness, since all the other lions rejected or fought him.
"I'm glad you're happy." Ty responded, trying to go with the flow so he wouldn't upset Leo.
"Leo happy... Maybe human not so bad. Leo have Ty." He stated.
Throughout the day, Ty made Leo watch reality television. Sure it was brain rotting garbage, but at least Leo would be able to get a few human concepts such as the proper way and improper way to conduct himself. Leo had many questions, which some even made Ty laugh from how silly they sounded. Thanks to the shows, Leo got a much better grip on what a human was, even his vocabulary improved a bit. He also got a better idea on how to use his new limbs to hold things, move things, or use any everyday object. He even learned how to use the toilet properly, albeit he had a terrible aim. Ty was just thankful he didn't have to put diapers on the big ol' ex-lion.
Once the day was done, Leo attempted to curl up with Ty, but found he was too big. Instead, he curled up on the floor and quickly fell asleep before Ty could suggest anything else. Ty just threw a blanket over him and slipped a pillow under his head before nodding off to sleep himself, awaiting for the next day to arrive.
