Kaitlin's mind was preoccupied as she shifted through the racks. She was definitely looking forward to the night, her boyfriend Bobby was coming over and her 13 year old daughter Amanda was going to a slumber party across the street, but she wondered about how long her relationship with Bobby could last.
Allowing her mind to race forward, she grinned to herself. No, she definitely had no qualms about the night.
Turning to her right, she caught sight of herself in a mirror. The lighting probably had a lot to do with it she told herself, but even so she couldn't help but admire her figure. Wavy blonde hair framed a face still mostly free of wrinkles and went down just beneath her shoulders. A green halter top complimented her C-Cup bust and tight blue denim jeans hugged her slim legs,and well proportioned ass. Fashionable brown leather sandals showed off her still smooth feet, and elevated her just slightly above her normal height of 5' 5". A gold ring bracelet and earrings added a little extra shine.
"No, not bad for a thirty year old woman", she smiled.
At this point Bobby came up behind her and, just after goosing her, said, "Not bad period."
Kaitlin jumped a little, and wheeled around to see Bobby behind her grinning.
Jabbing him squarely in the chest with a single finger, she remarked with a bit of amusement in her voice, "You never get tired of that do you?"
"No", Bobby confessed, "Can you really blame me?"
"No, I suppose not", Kaitlin replied before leaning forward and greeting her 22 year old partner with a satisfying kiss.
"Are you looking forward to tonight?"
"Of course, Bobby. It's been what two days?"
Bobby laughed, "Well, I got a surprise that will be sure to make you feel like it's been longer than that."
"And what's that?", Kaitlin asked.
"Can't tell!", Bobby was grinning again. "I have to run a few errands before it gets too late."
"Alright, I'll see you tonight then." Kaitlin conceded, a bit confused.
As Bobby rounded the corner, she thought again to what had been bothering her.
There was an eight year difference in age between her and Bobby. How long could she hope to keep his attention as time began to catch up to her. She looked in the mirror again. Time and youth, however relative that word now seemed, were fleeting. Kaitlin decided that she was going to live that night to the fullest.
