You walk around the forest, unsure of what you're supposed to do in this new life. You don't stray too far from the clearing, seeing as you don't know whether or not you are even on the same planet as before. As time goes by, you flex and explore your new body. You can move your tail and ears easily after some practice, and you can still use your hands as before. The same goes for your legs too.
After becoming used to the new changes, you decide to venture out a little further from the clearing. Before you can, however, a voice calls out "Tenzen? Are you here?" You seem to recall the name. Why was it so familiar? "Tenzen? Where are you?" the voice calls out again. You go over to the voice, eager to find out who Tenzen is. After crossing the clearing, you discover that another anthromorphic fox is there. He was looking the other way and seemed to have given up looking for whoever it was. "Great. What am I supposed to do now?" He asked himself with annoyance. You walk up to him and tap him on the shoulder. He whirls around and pulled back a fist for a second, then let it hang limp by his side. "Holy crap Tenzen! You nearly scared me to death! Don't sneak up on me like that,OK?" He said with concern. You look at him for a moment and say "All right." You feel a little disoriented when you hear a different voice come out of your mouth. That would have to take some getting used to.
The fox turned around. "Well come on. We're gonna be late if we don't hurry." he said as he sprinted into the forest. You quickly dart after him, feeling as though you knew where you going, which was impossible! Or was it? As you follow him, memories that were not your own slowly flooded into your mind. You recall running through the forest when you were young, playing tag with your best friend, Arius. Now you remember your first day of training, and how excited you were that you and Arius were on the same team. More memories swarm in your mind the longer you run. You now know that the fox you are following is in fact Arius. Slowly, you came to recall what your original purpose was in coming to the clearing: today you would go your separate ways and become students of one of The Great Arts. As this came to you, you remembered what the Great Arts were: the Arts of life that everyone participated in. There were five Great arts, each of which required you to have a different lifestyle.
1) The Art of Greatness. Many leaders were likely to be picked from this Art. It taught of strength, wisdom, and to act in the best interest of others.
2) The Art of Magic. Those who practiced this Art could use magic in all forms: from casting a curse to healing wounds, and everything in between.
3) The Art of Monsters. Those who practiced this Art would be able to summon monsters to their aid and were to become generals of war.
4) The Art of Populace. The majority practice this Art. It is the standard Art needed in order to survive in society. This Art teaches the basics of life.
5)The Hidden Art. Very little is known about this Art, and to practice this Art is extremely rare.
Slowly, the trees became fewer. After a little while, you came to a huge ruin. You remember that it's called The Ruins of Destiny. As you and Arius stand at the entrance, extremely out of breath, a guard beckons you in. "You're just in time! Hurry, before the ceremony ends!" he said as he ushered you through the remains of the entrance. You go through first and spot a single-file line of anthro foxes standing before a large brazier. You rush to the end of the line and Arius follows soon after. As you look on, you see a Magic Artist was standing at the brazier. Every time someone walked up to the brazier, he instructed them to raise their hand over it, and the flames inside would change color. The Magic Artist then told them which Art they were destined for, and they joined one of the four groups that were standing off to the side. The process was repeated for each individual.
Soon,it was your turn. You walked up to the brazier as the Magic Artist told you to raise your hand over the brazier. You do as you're instructed, and the fire burns...
