Standing there was another minotaur.
He was coated in thick black fur and had his mane decorated with coloured bands. He was
a little smaller than I was but just as muscular and covering a size-able bulge in the crotch
was a leather kilt. He looked at us sheepishly.
"Uh," he said in a gravelly voice, "Excuse me."
"We're lost," Runt stepped in, "I am an imp named Runt and this is my minotaur friend...
Hudson."
The minotaur straightened. "I am Ferus," he said.
"We wish to leave this realm as soon as we can," Runt continued, "Can you lead us to the
nearest gateway?"
With that, Ferus' face fell and he looked at his hooves, "The nearest is at my Tribe's village.
Sadly, I cannot lead you there..."
Runt blinked. "Why not?"
"Ferus has been exiled," he replied sadly.
"What for?"
"Ferus... propositioned a fellow bull," he confessed, "And my tribe does not take kindly to
eunuchs."
"It's no bones to us," Runt smiled, "Do you know of any other gateways?"
Ferus brightened. "There's one in the next town over! Ferus can lead you!"
And so, Ferus took point through the woodland. I found him quite adorable. I'd always
considered minotaurs to be ferocious and violent but he was childish and innocent. And
gay. I confess I spent most of the walk gazing at his muscular ass rippling beneath that kilt
of his. And once or twice I definitely caught him glancing at my junk.
I became very aware that I was naked. Or rather, that he wasn't. I was new to minotaur
customs and wasn't sure if nudity was common amongst our species or he was just being
polite. Either way, I think he enjoyed it.
"Don't worry," Runt whispered to me when Ferus was out of earshot, "We'll ditch 'im once
we get to town."
"I'm not worried," I replied, "I like him."
"Careful," said Runt, "You may look like a minotaur but yer not. It's magic keepin' you
together."
"So?"
"Caviat being you can't *ahem* 'copulate' with a real one. Otherwise your biology'll get
confused and you'll be stuck that way forever. Then I can never get you home. An' I
promised."
This sobered me up. But then, I reasoned, it was only Runt's influence that was making me
attracted to Ferus in the first place. If ever I got too... infatuated I should simply walk away
from Runt and all thoughts of thick, bull rump would be out of my head.
It was nightfall when we reached town. It looked just like something out of a fairy-tale,
populated by tudor cottages with thatched roofs. On the far hill was a towering castle.
"Ferus heard gateway is kept there," the minotaur said, gesturing towards the castle.
"Great," Runt smiled, "You two stay here while I investigate. It's best not to rush these
things."
Runt disappeared into the town. Ferus and I exchanged glances.
