You walk along the forest's path, enjoying the scenery. The trees are broad and leafy, so the area is peacefully secluded from the outside world. Small streams of sunlight light your way at irregular intervals. It is a refreshing experience.
After about half an hour of gentle strolling, you decide to take a rest near a tree, since there are no benches nearby. As rest with your back leaning against the strangely soft bark, you feel even more relaxed and peaceful. So very... tired... With a yawn and a stretch, you drift off, too tired to think about how odd it is to sleep in a park.
An owl's hoot awakes you from the land of nod, your eyes open to find complete and utter darkness. It is as if all light had been drained from the world. You feel your way around and realise that you're lying on the floor. As you pick yourself up, you feel your body is mostly a lot light, except for your chest, which seems heavier. You disregard this as one of your lesser worries.
"It's awake. Shall we take it?" You hear a high voice whisper.
"Yes. But be careful. It has heard us. We need to take them quickly!" Another voice replies. It is slightly higher than the first.
A shuffle and a crack and the world swims away.
