"Thought you'd wanna go to that fancy restaurant downtown for our first date, make it nice and intimate," Patrick informed him. "Does that sound all right?"
Dan nodded. He looked at what both of them were wearing and wondered what dress code for a nice restaurant would be in a world full of horny, masculine muscle bears. "Whatever you think is a good idea is okay with me," he said.
Patrick's beard parted to show him smiling. God, the ginger giant was so handsome! "Awesome! Well, let's mosey out, then." Patrick offered his colossal arm to Dan, who took it in his as they walked out to the campus parking garage. He would spot other students eying them jealously. More than a few students were wearing kilts and sported dyed red hair... Clearly it was a form of hero worship for Patrick, the biggest, manliest bear on campus! Patrick dutifully nodded to his followers, acknowledging their ardor to be more like him. When they got to the garage, Dan was at once surprised and not to see how big vehicles had to be in this new world. They made the SUVs in the original world look like compacts! "Over here," Patrick said, walking over to the biggest truck around. He easily got up into the driver's seat while Dan practically had to climb in. "Sorry... it's the only kind of car that'll fit a galoot like me," Patrick chuckled as he started the car and drove them downtown.
It was the first time Dan had really exposed himself to the world at large since his remaking of it. He saw billboards with a whole new breed of ads. Instead of skinny women in bikinis, there were huge hairy men with voluptuous pecs and bellies shoved into speedos that were trying in vain to keep their wearer's endowment modest. An ad advertising wedding bands had a gold ring around the sausage-like finger of a bear, complete with hairy knuckles. Ads for movies featured bears and cubs in tight clothing where there had been the typical Hollywood types before. Looking over the pedestrians, he saw crowds of men heavy with burly muscle and guts thrust out in front that commonly brushed against another man's. They were wearing various types of attire: muscle shirts, tank tops, t-shirts, half-shirts, business suits that looked tailored to their hulking form, leather, plaid, flannel, denim... It was beautiful to Dan. He was almost overcome with emotion to finally realize just how drastically he had altered the world... for the better, in his opinion. Especially when he saw the enormous bulges that were being smuggled around in everyone's pants.
Patrick finally pulled into the parking lot to the side of a swanky hotel. He offered Dan his arm again and the duo waddled into the hotel, going to the restaurant that operated out of the hotel's lobby. "Patrick, maybe this is too expensive, I don't want you to break the bank on my account!" Dan said, feeling bad for once about how badly Patrick must have wanted him.
"Break the bank? Ha, as if! You know my dad gives me more money than I could ever spend," Patrick chuckled. Dan wondered what sort of family Patrick came from in that case. He actually didn't know much about the Celtic stud. Perhaps that could be one of his goals during the evening...
