Your hometown has always been a bit isolated from everywhere else as it sits out in the wilderness and is accessible only by a small mountain road in dire need of a repaving. Your town is lucky that it is relatively small as nearly all of its living supplies come through on truck shipment and there would not nearly be enough supplies to sustain a large town. As if it wasn’t hard enough for your town lately there have been many reports of a horrible monster lurking on the mountain road, many people have gone missing up there and a lot of supply shipments have been lost as well. The local police force tried investigating the matter but everyone they sent up there has disappeared and if they lose any more people they will be unable to effectively police the now more than ever restless population. For this reason town hall has put a bounty on the monster promising to give a large sum of money to anyone who can kill the monster and bring back its remains to prove it. Your long time childhood friend Michael left chasing after the monster a few days ago but he hasn’t been heard from since and you’re beginning to get worried…
