Travis nervously entered the store, setting his radar to find all things manly. He was an average 18 year old in terms of development, but on the inside, he still felt like a little kid. Most of the girls had a crush on him in school, but he had no idea how to deal with them. The guys thought he was cool, but again, he had no idea how to deal with them. He figured he'd toss off those tighty whities and cartoony clothes to get something more mature and manly, he would feel his age and know how to take on anything. A strange line of thinking, but sometimes a whole new wardrobe could work wonders... Especially if its from this particular store. The only problem was, the store was far too huge.
"Um, excuse me, sir?" Travis meekly asked one of the store's clerks.
"Oh hey there! Do you need help with anything?" The man replied in a deep, charming voice - one that made Travis jealous.
"I need to get a bunch of clothes to replace my old ones. Where's the men's section? And uh, I need a lot of clothes so... Is there a discount section?" Travis felt his voice shrink, embarrassed by having to ask for a discount section. Travis also took note of the man's name tag, which was shoved outward thanks to the man's beefy pecs; it read Jake.
"Don't worry! Everything here is as cheap as possible, and the men's section is down this aisle, to the left. Everything's poorly marked since we recently opened, sorry for that." Jake replied with a hardy laugh. "If you get lost in that sea of clothes, I'll jump in there and pull you out myself. Just holler if you need me."
"Thanks!" Travis said with a smile, finding himself unusually relaxed. "Er, actually, would you mind helping me pick out something more... My age? I need new everything, from undies to normal clothes to dress clothes to bathing suits to - er, you get the idea."
"Oh I see, I see, you're looking to upgrade your wardrobe, right? I remember doing that at your age at a store like this. I felt like a whole new person after that. But sure, I'll help you."
"Thanks again, Jake!" Travis eagerly said, following closely behind Jake as he lead the way.
"Okay, first I need to know what type of style you are looking for. Like, what do you want your clothes to say about you?" Jake asked as he kept on walking through the vast store.
"Um hm, I wasn't really thinking about that. I guess I'll try a few things on. You pick where to start, Jake, you look like you're good at this."
"Righto then, let's start with..."
