"Good idea Mom," Joe motioned outside, they left through a large open screen door. Joe was thrilled to be outside and broke into a gallop, leading Karyn down the dirt road.
"Where are we going?" Karyn caught up to him, presumably talking to him but actually looking around wildly. Centaurs were everywhere, and many were staring at her oddly. She looked down sheeply until she realized why they were staring: as far as they knew everything was completely normal.
"Didn't Ricky say they were playing a football game in the park tonight? This I've got to see," they rounded the road into the park, now much larger more natural, filled with grass and wildflowers.
"Go!" A dozen centaurs were running back and forth across a field while a few more were cheering from the sidleines. They were swinging long mallets, knocking a white ball back and forth.
"Polo, that makes sense. Oh, hey Chelsea!" Karyn bound up to her best friend. "Who's winning?"
"They just started." Chelsea was nervously fidgetting, her eyes never leaving her boyfriend John.
"What's wrong?" Karyn knew something was up with her friend, and it might also affect her.
"It's nothing," Chelsea sighed and then said, "I'm in heat, alright." Joe looked carefully at Chelsea: the way her eyes never left her boyfriend, her nervous breathing, and the way she was wiggling her hind legs every few seconds and got an idea.
