The Magic Shop

Marking Territory

added by Chimera 12 years ago BM

Just then both girls were interrupted by a familiar voice from behind them. "Well, I guess they'll just let anyone in here nowadays!"

There was a smile in the voice, and they both turned around to see their neighbor Leigh from across the hall. Leigh was a bit of a punk and a club kid, her long hair dyed electric blue, with multiple piercings in her ears, nose, and lip.

"Oh hey, Leigh!" Cara beamed, which made Emily grateful that her roommate was so easily distracted.

"So was I right about this club or what?" Leigh asked, grinning impishly.

"Oh, totally!" Cara answered.

Emily's nostrils flared at Leigh's nearness. She couldn't say that she'd ever smelled the girl before, but with her developing senses she couldn't help but do so now. She slowly realized that the scent which had distracted the both of them as they passed their neighbors' door was coming rather more freshly from the blue-haired girl now. Canine, like wet dog, but with hints of musk. It caused her to look at Leigh anew. The cast of the girl's cheeks, the faint points of her pierced ears, the curve and sharpness of Leigh's eye-teeth. How long had Leigh been like this? Did Veronica know?

"Of course," Leigh said, "I sort of figured I'd see Emily here before I'd see you, Cara."

"M-me?!" Emily stammered as the blue-haired girl's stare fixed upon her. Something in Leigh's eyes was caught as the club's lights switched, which made them seem to glow rather like the black light reactive eyes of the wolves in the mural.

"Yeah," Leigh said with a toothy smile, "I just could tell this is your kind of scene, you know?"

"It is pretty cool, yeah." Emily replied nervously.

"Should come here more often," Leigh said as she brought a hand up to Emily's cheek. The redhead could feel the faint leatheriness of her neighbor's fingertips, the curve and point of the blue-haired girl's nails as they gently dragged along her jawline. It sent a shiver through her.

Leigh had definitely noticed the reaction, but soon her nostrils flared and she looked down to Emily's hands.

"Oh, the house specialty..." Leigh mused, before looking to Cara. "...though perhaps you've had enough, dear."

"Yeah... I think I probably have." Cara admitted.

"Well then," Leigh said as she gently took one of the shots Emily was carrying, "Bottoms up..."
