Cara made it to the window, both Emily and Leigh startled by her sudden movement. Neither of them were quite sure what the brunette had intended, and it was perhaps true that Cara herself didn't know. Certainly she felt her reasons melting away as her gaze caught the full moon above. Fixated, she finally drew back the hood, her black mane tumbling down. Her eyebrows came alive, sprouting thicker, longer, until at her temples they began to blend into her hairline, her brow pushing forward, primitive and brutish. Her nose pushed upwards, seaming down the tip as it darkened, the sparse growth on her cheeks suddenly flowering into twin thick tufts of fur that splayed out below her jawline.
"It's... it's so beautiful, Emily." Cara murmured breathlessly.
"I've always thought so," Emily said as she walked up beside her roommate.
The curtains preserved her modesty and privacy from the world beyond, but in the pane above the moon shone clear and bright. Emily basked, relishing the feel of the changing rays as her own face swelled forth into feral relief, rubbing the lush tufts of copper that pushed forth from her cheeks, the skin of her arms writhing with sprouting hair.
"So... you... you wanted this?" Cara asked, her gaze not straying from the silver orb as her clothes started to come up rather short on her, popping noises in her joints, up her spine, her frame inching upwards.
"For a long time," Emily replied as the growth between her breasts spread upwards, blossoming into a luxurious ruff about her neck and shoulders.
"I... think I see why," Cara said as she unzipped the sweatshirt she'd abused quite a bit, tugging it off of her arms and discarding it. Her arms were shaggy, quickly becoming encased in a spreading pelt of raven black.
"I don't know why I tried to hide it from you. I should have been straight with you from the start."
"I... I don't know how I would have reacted, Emily. But if I'd known it would be like this..."
"...you'd have wanted it," came the voice of Leigh from behind them, finishing Cara's sentence.
They both turned around, Emily shivering as she did so, due to the moonlight painting thick, mounded hackles about her shoulders and down her back. The moonlight that had escaped betwixt them was falling on the punk girl now, and as she let out a long breath she seemed to be letting it affect her at last. The pale blonde tuft betwixt her legs thickened and lightened to stark white, spreading up towards her navel. Her eyebrows followed suit, and when they met her hairline they trailed streaks of white into her dyed blue mane.
"I guess I'm... feeling a little overdressed," Cara said with a blush.
"It's okay, Cara." Emily reassured. "This wasn't something you asked for, and you don't have to get undressed in front of us if you don't want to."
"But," Leigh interjected, "you're going to need to decide where to get undressed, and soon. Especially if you like those clothes. The change can't really be stopped once it's started..."
