Ron was about to step out of the room but there was no robe or towel. He had thought
there might be one in the towel cabinet but the only linens in there were small hand
towels. Ron cracked the door to get Mr. Pearson's attention.
Ron asked, "Isn't there supposed to be a robe?"
Mr. Pearson said, "You're going to be naked in front of these guys. Do you really need a
robe?"
Ron hesitates but he already knows some of these guys and that they've already seen him
naked. He steps out and discovers that the number of students has grown. There are now
twenty-seven guys in the living room. The living room was large because it was the living
room, dining room, and kitchen combined and the entire space had been arranged so that
they could have this art class. Ron was directed to some crates and items near the kitchen
island that he could stand or sit on during posing.
Ron looked around the room. Several of the guys were guys he'd never seen before. Ron
began to turn red.
Mr. Pearson said, "Now how are the students supposed to understand normal skin tone
when you turn red like that."
Ron asked, "You mean they will paint."
Mr. Pearson said, "Some will draw, some will paint, some will create in other ways. All are
trained at replicating a model to artistic standards."
The class started out with a few really simple poses which helped Ron relax. But then Mr.
Pearson said, "Alright, now for what we are really here for. It is time for a more thorough
study of art."
