The bartender looked humoured and leaned back with his shoulder against the wall while
Josh jumped down from the barstool to see what Jesse was sprouting. Luckily for the two
boys they managed to find the bar before their transformation into donkeys had progressed
too far, so now they were in for a treat the bartender thought and sniggered. He threw a
towel over his shoulder and removed his skullcap, his half-moon ears of a bear plain for
everyone to see.
Josh slipped down from the chair and walked behind him. Leaning forward he began to tear
the pants more so he could see and slipped out a short, stubby and brown tail. He quickly
leaned into Jesse's view again with an astonished look on his face.
"Dude, you have a bear's tail!"
"What? Really?", a brief glance at the bartender and then quickly followed by
"But I'm not gay!"
The bartender leaned forward and put a large hairy hand on his. Jesse gave a scared look
into the bearded bartender's face. "It's okay, it's okay, as I said it also reveals the
animal you hold dearest so you're not the first one and probably not the last to get a
bear's tail and walk out the door with a lady-friend afterwards," the bartender said and
withdrew again. "Although I don't too many men would say no either around here to your
company but that's all up to you." Jesse looked at the bartender and then at Josh who
shrugged.
Somewhat relieved, Jesse leaned forward and looked over his shoulder, prodded with his
hand and felt the furry protrusion behind him. It was weird but pleasant at the same
time, as he flicked the tail and felt how he had a sort of new 'muscle' somewhere that
ached to be used somehow. After a short moment of silence a woman peering over another
customer's shoulder - barely in Jesse's view - said with some difficulty;
"Well... go on?".
The other patrons of the pub now sat turned towards him looking spellbound.
Jesse still felt how the brew inside his stomach bubbled and his skin felt itchy like
there was a discharge running like a current underneath his epidermis. A certain energy
that made his body shiver, but he turned his head and saw the brunette's head standing
out of the crowd as he caught her eyes. She looked around 20-24 or something, and quite
the looker. He found himself just looking at her for an unacceptable amount of time
before realizing he should probably say something.
"Sorry, what?" he said and furrowed his brow.
She raised her voice a bit more.
"Er. Well, you know, the transformation?"
"Oh... yes...", Jessed looked ponderous, shying his head away and nodding slowly, only to
shortly after look around in desperate confusion towards the large gathering.
"How, exactly?" he said with a shrill voice.
The bartender sighed and leaned forward again and said in a low, whispering voice,
"Well, you should feel something new inside of you now, yes? Just try and use that. It's
easy."
The bartender leaned his head back with a smirk on his face as he held his arms akimbo
and looked as if in pleasure. Then his gut impossibly grew larger and larger right in
front of his eyes as the buttons popped off his vest, bouncing off the counter and the
already hairy stomach sprouted brown fur, spreading across the center of it and coming
into view for the crowd. The people around him clapped their hands at the display. It was
large and spherical, and Jesse just looked with eyes wide open at the furry gut that now
graced his already massive figure. This was the real deal he thought, and then looked up
at the bartender's head with his bear-ears proudly showing.
I can be like that too?
"Aaah... that's the stuff," he said and put both hands on the furry belly. "It's like
releasing the belt after a good meal, perhaps better. Try it!" he said and patted his
belly.
"You're a werebear now son, you might as well show off the new you right here and now."
Astonished at first, but then determined Jesse jumped down the barstool, the crowd
parting into an orderly semi-circle around the bar as he did.
"Alright."
