You dream. You are back home. You feel excited. Your sister, Jackie, has just left for somewhere. You are not sure where and you do not really care. All you understand was that she told mom and dad that she would be gone a couple hours, possibly spending the night with at a friend's house.
Sneaking down the hall, aware that you are naked, but not really caring, you pause. Downstairs, you can hear the television going and knowing that your parents will be entertained for a couple hours with their programme you continue on to Jackie's room.
Inside, you shut the door and peer around the room. Moving across the room, you open the top drawer of your sister's dresser and pause. For a moment, you think this is wrong and that you should have a brother named Jack, not a sister named Jackie. But then you spy the rolled up underwear and reaching down, you take a pair that is light blue and when you unroll it, you note that there was pink trim around the leg holes and waist band and a pink bow on the front.
The dream shifted and you are tucking your penis and testicles back between your legs and pulling on your sister's underwear. They are a bit tight, especially between your legs, despite the fact that your sister is at least three years older.
You spy a pink leotard and a pair of pink tights and you remember that at one time, around the time she was ten, your age, your sister took ballet. Suddenly you want to be dressed as a pretty ballerina and shedding the underwear, you reach for the leotard, but stop the moment something catches your eye.
Turning back to the mirror, you open your mouth in a silent scream and spreading your legs, you are horrified to see that your penis and testicles are now gone and all that is present was smooth, flat skin and just the hint of a slit.
You sit up in bed, looking about the dorm room wildly, unsure where you are. And then it all came back to you and flopping back onto the bed, you stare up at the ceiling, bothered by your dream.
Reaching down, you touch the soft cotton of the nightgown, wanting only to reassure yourself that you do indeed have a penis and testicles and not the private parts of a girl. The area felt off for some reason and shifting about, you hike the nightgown up and stare at the smooth underwear, horrified that you cannot see the bulge of your penis and testicles.
Reaching down, you touch the underwear and after a moment, you force your hand into your underwear, confirming that your genitals are now between your legs, much like a girl's would be.

A ringing noise and you sit, looking about the dorm room, gasping for air. Slowly you get your breath back as you realise that somebody is knocking on your door. Throwing back the comforter and sheet, you touch the area where your genitals should be and then breathe a sigh of relief when it becomes apparent that you still have your penis and testicles.
The knocking becomes more insistent and climbing out of bed, you head across the room and opening the door, you find yourself looking at an older girl.
"Or is it an older boy made to look like a girl?" you ask yourself.
Before you can figure out which it was, the person announced in a feminine voice, "You're the new girl, Saphira. All new girls are required to report to Mistress Yu, the hospital wing and Ms Lobecky, the boarding school's tailor."
Unsure, you shake your head and replied, "My name is not Saphira. It is..." but suddenly find yourself drawing a blank as to your name.
The girl shrugged and told you, "Whatever," and the added, "Listen. Don't keep Mistress Yu waiting. If you do, it will count as a tardy and you might either get detention or the treatment. Maybe both. Depending on what she thinks of you."
Turning away, she started down the hall, leaving you standing in the doorway, but after a couple steps, she stopped and turning back to look at you, she said, "If I were you, I'd go see Mistress Yu first. That might be the only chance you get breakfast," and turning away, she continues down the hall to the next door, where she stopped and knocking, she cried out, "First bell has rung. Everybody up."

Wandering down the hallway, not liking the fact that all you are wearing are night-clothes suitable for a girl and the fact that you cannot remember your name male name, you stop and looking about, you suddenly realise that you have no idea where the Headmistress's office might be.
Spying another student, you move down the hall in their direction and flagging them down, you ask, "Can you tell me where Mistress's Yu's office is?"
The student sneers and then spat out, "Find it yourself."
Upset, you shot back, "Find. Whatever. And turning away, you march back down the hallway, where you immediately run into an older looking woman, who smiles and asked, "Would you be Saphira?"
Hesitant, you nod after a moment as the woman explained, "I am Matron Nikl. I'll call Mistress Yu and tell her you are with me."
Nodding still, you follow the woman into what you note to be a doctor's office. After she has made her phone call, you are asked to remove your nightgown, something you are hesitant about, but do so in the end. Afterward, she takes your blood pressure, press on your stomach, checks your breathing, your posture, listens to your heart, questions about any sore and tenderness in the breasts, looks at your eyes and ears and then finally throat.
Afterward, she explained a few things, things you are certain only apply to a girl, but remain silent during this talk.
When she was done talking, Matron Nikl took you down the hall a bit and introduced you to Ms Lobecky, who, over the next hour, helped fit you with underwear, full-length dresses, tights, blouses, undershirt, slip, shoes and a type of bra you think only a little girl would where. And then, to top it off, you are also given a full set of hygiene supplies normally used by a girl...something that deepens your feeling of embarrassment.
Next, you are shown to a shower room, where you bathe and after a moment's hesitation, you put on the one of the outfits Ms Lobecky presented to you, hating that you are wearing a girl's school outfit and that you are expected to behave, dress and answer to a girl's name.
When you are down, you are shown to the Headmistress's office, where you are sat down and given a talking to about...mostly about stuff that was not covered the previous evening. After that you are given a book of the etiquette of being a girl and told that you are expected to read and comprehend all that was within.
"Failure to comply will result in the treatment," Mistress Yu explained and something tells you that this is the end of your meeting with the Headmistress.

For the rest of the day, you are shown around the campus by Ms Pernin, the woman who was in charge of the wing you sleep on, who explained many more of the rules and regulations, but would tell you nothing of what the treatment was when you asked.
When you finally do return to your room, you note that your school uniforms have been delivered and sighing, wanting only to find the note, you begin to put everything away. When you are finished with that, you look at the clock above the door and seeing that it was about nine fifty, you yawn, tell yourself, "I'll try and look tomorrow," as you slowly undress and prepare for bed.
