Several knocks were rattled off on her door that shook Anna from her state. She blinked her eyes for a moment and regained her composure before trotting over to the door only to open it and see her boyfriend Joe.
"Hey babe." He leaned in and gave her a kiss before she could even say a word. "Saw you drive in and thought I'd drop by."
"Oh." She stumbled back as he helped himself into her apartment.
"Well actually, I do have an ulterior motive." He turned and looked at her.
"Which is?" She crossed her arms, hating when he would do this.
"Need to use your bathroom." She smiled and dropped her hands back to her sizes.
"You know where it is." She motioned towards her bedroom. He darted over and pushed her bedroom door open and pushed it nearly closed behind him. Anna scratched her forehead, forgetting what she had been doing just before he came in until there was a distinctive sound of crunching paper from her room.
"Uhhh, babe," Joe said curiously, "what's this?" Anna's heart froze as she remembered the costumer splayed out on her bed. Her face started to go red before she buried in her hands. Dejected, she marched over to the bedroom where Joe was holding the costume up in front of him, looking it over.
"I got it for you." She sounded almost sorry she did it at all. "Us. For us, from this shop. It was a dumb idea." She stumbled her way through the excuse with her as she sat down on the corner of her bed.
"Dumb? This is amazing!" Joe said excitedly. Anna looked up and over at him and saw the big grin on his face. "You got this for us?"
"Yeah, from this shop... you really like it?" Anna was still partially shocked that Joe was so into the costume.
"Like it? I think I'm in love." Joe turned to Anna, the suit draped over his arm in between them. "I think we should try it out."
The two looked at each other, Joe seemed extremely excited while Anna's face went from disbelief to one of sly and lurid thoughts.
