"Ready?" you ask puzzled "Ready for what?"
"I'm going to do tests on you" she replies opening a draw "We're going to see how much of you has changed physical and biologically"
She takes a syringe and a rubber tube and places it on the small metallic table next to the bed you are sitting on.
"I guess I'm ready" you reply slightly scared
"Good" Sam says smiling at you "Now hold out your arm"
You do as you are told, reluctantly but also wanting to cure whatever has happened to you. Sam Ties the rubber tube around your left arm tightly and tries to make one of your arteries bump up. She puts on some latex gloves and picks up the empty syringe. She wipes your arm with an cotton bud dabbed with an anesthetic.
"You'll feel a slight pinch" She tells you coolly
She puts the needle into your artery, you do feel a slight pain in your arm but not so much you would scream. She draws a decent amount of blood from your arm. After the syringe is half full she pulls it out and covers your artery with a cotton bud at the same time. She then unties the rubber tube from your arm. You hold the cotton bud on your arm and bend it for extra hold.
"See wasn't so bad was it?" Sam says putting the tube on the table and standing up.
"No" you reply giving her a slight smile
She walks to one of the machines and places the contents of the syringe into a test tube. She disposes of the syringe and puts the test tube into a machine.
"This will tells us how much of you has changed biologically" she tells you sounding very smart "It usually takes about 10-15 minutes to do a complete analysis. But we can find out now how much has changed in percentages"
She sits down into a computer chair and types into a computer next to the blood analysing equipment.
"Ah!" she says happily "There we go. Hmm I thought it would be more serious but apparently not"
She turns to you and shows you the screen. It says 10.5%.
"I..is that good?" you ask worriedly
"It's very good!" she replies excitedly "It means that all that has changed is the physical parts of you. The biological ones came with them. We just need to find out what has changed"
She stands up and walks over to you. Sam sits back in the chair next to your bed and types on a metallic keyboard attached to your bed.
"Lie down please" She asks
"Oh OK" you reply putting the cotton bud in the bin, as your arm has stopped bleeding.
You lie back down onto the padded bed and try to get comfortable. Not easy as you are sitting on your tail.
"Discomfort?" Sam asks you quizzically
"Y..yea" you reply embarrassed but also not wanting to admit that you have a tail "It...it's my..."
"Your tail?" she asks seeming to already know the answer.
You nod not looking at her, blushing slightly.
"It's alright" she replies touching your shoulder to comfort you "I know it's hard to accept but you have to, other wise you will not be able to do anything"
You are silent for a minute or two then, with resolve, nod at her.
"Good" she replies tapping a button on the keyboard.
As she does this a hole seems to open near your tail, which it falls soundly into. The relief is surprising at it is now free to move. You sigh and Sam looks at you smiling
"Better?" she asks
"Much better" you reply sighing again
Sam smiles at you and continues to type into the keyboard. A green, curved, transparent visor comes out from the side of the bed and goes over your head and stops shortly above the otherside of the bed.
"This machine will scan your body and tell me what changes have occurred" Sam tells you still typing on the keyboard, you note that a screen has appeared in front of her from inside the bed.
The visor shines a place green light onto your body and makes it's way from your head down to your feet then back up again. It does this several times before stopping and receding back into the bed.
"Almost done" Sam says "I just need a fur sample"
"Fur?" you ask looking up at her
As you ask the question you feel a quick and sharp pain of your tail, as though someone just pulled a hair out of your head but on your tail instead.
"Done!" Sam exclaims to you smiling
She has stopped typing as you sit up again. She is now looking at the screen with intent. You can hear the screen beep as a list appears on it.
"Good it's done" She says "Come have a look"
You get up from the bed and walk net to her, rubbing your tail were the fur was taken from. You look at the screen and see a list, not a very long one but still a list.
"Whats this?" you ask Sam still looking at the list.
"These Luna are a list of changes that have happened to you" she explains leaning back slightly to show you "As you can see it is not as serious as I first thought"
You look at the list more intently now and read it:

Ears, hearing made to accommodate
Tail, non-prehensile (Can't move it with mind, follows emotions and feelings)
Slight adjustment to sense of smell, can detect and distinguish objects and people. Can also assign and remember smells.
Upper canines, originally incisors and molars. Lower canines also present but not fully developed.
Enhanced arousal and pleasure, due to substance A-105 this occurs in all subjects who grow a tail, or reach a similar stage. This will occur whenever aroused or at the end of each week if no arousal had occurred.

You stare at the screen for a couple more seconds before tilting your head at the part about the canines. You put your finger in your mouth and feel your teeth. Sure enough your upper incisors are now canines as well as two molars next to both of them. Your lower teeth still feel the same but have slight points to them. You pull your finger out when you stab it with one of the canines. You even drew blood. You stare at your bleeding finger in disbelief. You can't have grown canines, it's all just so unbelievable. Sam puts a tissue on your finger to stop it bleeding and hugs you.
"It's alright Luna" She says soothingly and understanding
You just sand there for a second before accepting her embrace, crying softly into her shoulder. You try to compose yourself after a while, trying to keep calm so not to aggravate more changes.
"All done?" Asks Sam nicely
"Yeah" you reply wiping your eyes "Thanks"
Sam lets go of you and smile at you. She hands you a tissue to wipe your eyes with and heads over to the blood testing machine which had started beeping.
"Ah it's done" says Sam sitting in the computer chair "We'll now find out what what animal you have partially changed to"
You walk over to her aftering clearing your eyes "What animal?" you ask looking at the screen "Wouldn't it be a dog?"
"You would thinks so but I notice some differences between your animal and a dog"
The screen starts to show a bunch of numbers and different animal names. Each has different percentages that change every time.
"It's just checking what animal your DNA matches to the most" Sam explains looking up at you. You lean in to see the result.
Then the computer shows.....
