"Well I was probably just going to take a few of them and come back, but I guess none of us really wants to be out in this storm longer than we have to, huh?"
"That's what I was thinking," he says, "after all, we're in the same boat here."
"That's fair enough. Tell you what, if you take that bag there, I think I can handle the rest."
He nods, scooping up the larger bag you'd indicated. "You on winter break, too?" He asks, guessing by your age.
"Yeah," you say as you close the hatch, "wasn't planning on this though."
"I don't think any of us were. Anyway, lead on."
You nod, picking up the rest of the bags and beginning the trudge through the snow. Reaching the stoop of your chalet, you turn to him.
"Thanks for the help in this nasty weather," you say gratefully.
"No problem. Guess I might see you around, huh?"
