Still on the phone with Nina, the growl that was in your throat moments earlier is dwarfed by a rather insistent growling in your belly.
"Uhm... what food is there in here right now? I didn't eat much during the trip." You ask sheepishly.
"Oh, you poor dear! Didn't you check the fridge yet? It's not exactly a banquet, but we do stock the chalets with some lunch meats and sweets, as well as the minibar."
You quirk a brow, and carry the cordless handset over towards the refrigerator, opening it. Your nostrils flare at the scent of the food, and your jaw drops for a moment at what a gross understatement Nina had been telling you. Some lunch meat? There's nearly half a ham in there! Pounds of roast beef! Turkey! Cheeses! The whole spread looks so tempting that you're rather in your own little world for awhile.
"Hello? Ma'am? You trailed off, there."
Your attention is brought back to the handset.
"I ah... this will do." You say, recovering your composure.
"Oh, you went to check! We do pride ourselves on our service here! Hope you enjoy it!"
"There's... well, there's one more thing. Do you have a lost and found box or something?"
"We've got one here in the lobby. Did you find something in the snow?" She seems concerned, as if that's been a problem of late.
"No, no, just found something in the dresser here. A necklace."
"Oh! Then there's no need to worry, ma'am. Compliments of the resort, that's yours to keep..."
