"Let's change into wolves." said Ryan.
"Yeah," said Jeremy. 'That would be really cool."
The boys snuck over to the wolf exhibit. The boys were dissapointed to find out that there was no way for them to actually get to the wolves, because there was a huge fence that guarded a completely plexi-glass-covered opening. But, while Ryan and Connor were trying to figure out some other way to get in that hadn't already been thought of before on this website, Jeremy found a door to the backstage area of the zoo.
"What a wildly unlikely and convenient coincidence." said Jeremy, after calling Ryan and Connor over.
The boys wandered through the maze-like employees only part of the zoo until they came to a door with a big sign that said
WOLF ENCLOSURE
AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY
Ignoring the rules, the brothers cautiously walked through the door. They found themselves inside the wolf enclosure. After all, it wasn't like the sign would be wrong, or some other plot twist would happen.
The boys carefully and slowly approached the wolves, who, luckily, were sleeping. The brothers each walked up to a different wolf and placed their hands on them, feeling the familiar shock and tingling sensation. The brothers ran away from the wolves as fast as they could without making a sound or any other way of disturbing the wolves' sleep.
Ryan hid behind the feeding station, waiting for the transformation to begin.
