"Wh-what!" Dan was virtually speechless, he couldn't believe his twisted sister had actually gone through with it. Eyes wide, he dropped to the ground. Dan shook his head in a manic attempt to deny reality but he couldn't change what had happened. He tasted dust in his mouth but couldn't bring himself to stop panting.
Kat scowled at her former brother. "Get up you silly little girl, you'll be covered in dirt if you stay down there." She snapped her fingers, cruelly wiggling them in front of Dan's eyes for a moment before straightening up and nudging at him with her foot. Still compelled to obey his sister, Dan shakily rose to all fours while faint whines slipped from his throat.
"That's a good puppy." Dan's sister moved to his side, hissing in his ear. Her right hand moved up behind his head to scratch the rear of his skull and rub at the ears, and just like last time his thoughts became foggy and distracted, while her left curled under Dan's tail to gently lift it so that she could have a good look. Partly to make sure everything had gone according to plan, but mainly to humiliate and degrade.
Smiling at what she saw, Kat stopped scratching Dan's head and let out a chuckle. "My my Daniella, wasn't there supposed to be something else here? Such a shame really, you'd only just gotten the hang of cocking your leg." There was a yelp from behind her as Dan's mind cleared and he leapt away, yanking the leash out of his sister's hands. A drifting cloud of dust was kicked up by her scrabbling claws, covering Kat's trousers and his fur in a chalky cloud that clung to his tongue and made him retch.
"HEEL!" The command hit Dan like a rubber bullet. Freezing in his tracks, he slowly raised his gaze to his sister and felt himself slowly slinking back to her feet. As afraid as he was, he couldn't stop himself from doing the one thing in the world that he didn't want to do, and the distance between Dan and his sister closed until he stood at her feet.
Her eyes narrowed, one eyebrow raised, Kat picked up the trailing end of the leash and stood over her dog. She reeked of anger but Dan was in no position to wonder at being able to smell that.
"Little puppy, you are a very bad, BAD dog." Kat glared down at Dan with the merciless intensity of a laser. "I think you need to think about your situation and who exactly is the one in control here. Because you may think that things are bad for you now, but I'm sure I can think up plenty of punishments that would make things so much worse." She gave Dan's nose a stinging swat, pulled the leash close to her hip, and started to walk with humbled pet close to heel.
