His life had gone very well for a few years. Jeff was now in college and of course living with Mark. Of course he had gotten some publicity
because the world had heard about him but the Chronivac prevented him from being exposed to bad because anytime that anyone came within
100 miles of Jeff, the effect of the Chronivac would cause them to suddenly think that it was all normal and therefore not a story worth doing.
Therefore many reporters suddenly turned away as did many photographers and Jeff was mostly left alone to enjoy his life.
Meanwhile, the people at the college had adjusted so well to Jeff that they invited him to many things. His social life did increase just as the
Chronivac was set to do. There were many pictures of Jeff playing fetch in the park or showing off some new outfit. There were also the
pictures of Jeff at the dog shows. These pictures did make it out to the public over the internet which caused a great deal of controversy. Many
people thought that Jeff was disgusting and that these people who put his pictures on the internet should be arrested for putting porn on the
internet. But these complaints never got within 100 miles of Jeff because as soon as anyone did try to arrest Jeff or his friends, as soon as they
were within range, they no longer thought of it as illegal to see a nearly naked Jeff being walked on a leash.
Several people lodged complaints that dog shows were for dogs and they insisted that Jeff not be allowed to compete. But as soon as Jeff
showed up at a dog show, the Chronivac would cause everyone to forget why they thought that Jeff shouldn't be allowed to compete. So Jeff
got to compete and he frequently won prizes as one of the best dogs there.
People were very confused and some accused Jeff of witchcraft or of being a demon. There were a few violent fights that broke out but never
with 100 miles of Jeff and so an uneasy truce was established to let Jeff be.
Closer to home, Jeff was so welcomed that he expanded the number of friends who could borrow him pretending that Jeff was their dog.
Jason was a hunter and took Jeff hunting on many occasions. Usually this was with Mark and other friends but Mark only hunted occasionally
and so finally agreed that Jason could take Jeff sometimes without Mark. Jeff was not that great of a hunting dog but Jason didn't seem to mind.
In reality, Jason was just going hunting with his friend Jeff. But Jeff was dog-like so both Jeff and Jason expected Jeff to play the role of a
hunting dog during the trip. Jeff stayed naked except his collar for the whole trip and if no one else was there, Jason would also strip naked
sometimes because what's the big deal about being naked in front of the dog. Jason slept naked and because it was too cold to let Jeff sleep on
top of the sleeping bag, Jason let Jeff sleep in the bag with him but there was nothing sexual about this. In the minds of both Jason and Jeff, Jeff
was the dog. They slept together for warmth and comfort without the slightest thought of carnality.
One hunting trip as Jason was driving and Jeff was curled up naked in his pet carrier, Jeff suddenly had a terrifying realization. He had
forgotten to bring the Chronivac emitter and they would be traveling beyond the 100 mile range. Jeff asked Jason if he would turn around
because he forgot something. Jason said, "Don't worry boy. I packed everything we need. What would you need anyway since you live closer to
nature than any human?"
Jeff kept trying to persuade Jason but under the influence of the Chronivac, Jeff was submissive and Jason was stubborn. Jeff laid down and
whimpered, nervously wondering what would happen when they got out of the range of the Chronivac.
