After his mother left, Roy noticed other changes in his room. A rack of dumbbells were located along his left wall. A branch press was also in the room with plates next to it. On the wall located on the right side of his room were framed pictures of him in contests and a few newspaper clips. One said, “Six year old boy wins the National Amateur Bodybuilding Competition in Heavy Weight Class!” Another frame had a page from the Guinness World Records that stated Roy was the youngest professional bodybuilder in the history of the sport. Underneath the wall was a shelf with his bodybuilding trophies, particularly one in the middle that was the trophy for winning the Mr. Olympia contest two years ago. Roy laughed. Not only was he the brightest, strongest kid on the planet but he was also a bodybuilding superstar.
Roy flexed his right arm which caused a gigantic bicep to come out of his arm. “Maybe I will go to the gym. Just to see what these muscles can do,” Roy concluded as he used his other hand to feel his bicep. Going through his drawers Roy pulled out a gray muscle shirt, green shorts and black gloves. Roy went to the mirror and was astonished at how he looked. Racing out of his room, Roy was more determined than ever to go to the gym. In the kitchen, he grabbed a water bottle and put it into a gym bag he found. His mother was there. “Wait Roy; let me take a good look at you.”
“Okay mom.”
His mom moved around him in a circle to get a really good look at her son. “My goodness Roy, you look incredible!” she said astonished at how big her son was now. “Wait until I get back. My muscles will get so big this shirt will be in pieces.” Both laughed. Roy’s mom then said to her son, “Oh, before I forget. Mr. Green is coming over for dinner to talk about some sponsors who want you to advertise their products.” Roy lifted an eyebrow, “Mr. Green?” “Your bodybuilding manger for 2 years, remember?” “Oh yea, I forgot,” Roy said. “I need to know about my new life soon or people would get suspicious,” he said in his head. “Okay. Have a nice time Roy and knock’em died.” “Sure will mom!” Roy yelled as he ran out the door saying in his head, “Look out, gym! Here comes Roy!”
