( hmmm, this one had to be one of moine )
As you can imagine life for the 3 teens was rather dull after their adventures at
Pleasure Island.
Being dragons briefly had somehow affected their goals in life, and all
three ended up im aviation industry careers as Sikorsky helicopter pilots using the huge
sky trucks to haul stuff to distant wilderness locations.
They seemed to have gained a inner 6th sense when it came to flying their choppers.
So when the Boss called all three into the office, looked both ways to make sure noone else
was eavesdropping, before quietly closing the office door, they knew they'd been specially
picked for another mission.
The Boss pushed a huge postcard in front of the three twentysomething pilots
It showed a huge dragon,a huge mare thing and three grown up monsters waving at
the camera whilst holding a huge t shirt that said
"I went to Pleasure Island, and all I got was this lousy t shirt"
On the back of the postcard was the scrawl "wish yer were here"
The 3 pilots tensed
"No" said the boss,"the postcard was just a means to send a secret microfilm
message"
It seemed that all the radiation at the all Chernobyl reactor site in the Ukraine
was causing temporal and spatial fluctuations, the kind of stuff that could lead to a
Pleasure Island like land.
Since business was already declining at Pleasure Island, their client did not want a
competitor forming at Chernobyl.
The client wanted the company to fly over to Chernobyl, haul up all the radioactive trucks,
bulldozers and other stuff rusting around the entombed plant and dump it in a deep ocean
trench somewhere, preferably not near Pleasure Island.
The client figured that lowered radiation level would be enough to keep the
"Creation " event from happening.
The pay was good and the client had included 3 magical vials the 3 sikorsky pilots could use in case of emergency, along with a Pleasure Island employee benefits form already signed by the client
and with blank spaces where the three could name their terms,if worse came to worse
However the form was only effective if the job was carried out before a certain deadline...
