As you pull your hand away you notice that the goo follows your hand out. It doesn't break with the original mass of goo either. It just trails after. You try to shake the stuff off your hand, but it holds fast. Without thinking you attempt to wipe it on your shirt. The stuff sticks to your shirt, but doesn't clear away from your hand. You now have the stuff all over you. You're looking around for the shower room when you suddenly feel the stuff sort of moving. You return your attention to the stuff which is quivering somewhat right now. You see the trail of slime from your hand to the pool getting slowly shorter. It occurs to you that the slime is pulling itself back in. Maybe it will leave you alone now.
Your hopes are broken when your feel the stuff tug you towards the mass in the pool. the slime almost seems to harden around your hand as if it knew you were trying to escape. Your struggles increase and you try to pull away from the stuff but it just keeps pulling you closer. In fact with your struggles the stuff pulls you towards it faster. Soon you're pulled off the the edge of the pool and into the stuff entirely. You hold your breath as you are pulled under. You try to swim to the surface but it's like swimming through molasses. You also get the distinct feeling that you're sinking faster then you can pull up. You swim until your limbs go numb. It's only then that you realize you're not breathing, and haven't for several minutes. But when you pause you realize that you lungs aren't aching for air. In fact you're not even sure you have lungs, whats more your limbs aren't numb, they're just not there. You have mass, you can feel it, but it's amorphous. You come to the startling conclusion that you've turned into the same goo you're submerged in. You move yourself through the pool with ease now. You feel as though you should be panicking with all of these realizations, but you feel fine somehow.
