Kris never had a specific fascination with werewolves before, but seeing how much the Scottish man insisted,
and given that maybe this was your last chance,
you decide that the werewolf was your best option. "Ok, i'll take the werewolf costume! How much for it?" he
asked, but as soon as Kris pronounced the word
'werewolf' the Scottish man took a long package below the front counter. "Don't ya want to try it on, son?"
the man said, pointing to the changing room. "Well,
why not? i got fifteen minutes to spare" Kris said, as he took the box. The Scottish man was visibly
The changing room was rather small, it only had a stool and a full lenght mirror. He decided to close the door
behind him, and opened the box. Inside there was
nothing else but a simple and ragged shirt, some tattered pants, a pair of clawed hands (paws?) and a rather
standard latex werewolf mask. He sighed: at least
he was hoping to get anything different from the typical Halloween costume, something more full-body and
awesome... but given his chances this was the best he
could get. He undressed completely, folded his clothes over the stool, and start putting on the ragged shirt.
It actually looked like if a werewolf wore it
just before throwing it away... it would give it some realism, he though as he slipped on the pants. Next, he
put on the clawed gloves, that actually looked
kind of fake, and in the end, he took the mask from it's borders and pull it on your head.
As he looked into the mirror, he looked at himself, wearing a rather low-budget werewolf... Costume? this is
not even a werewolf costume! it's just because of
the mask that the illusion is complete, without it Kris would've looked like a long-nailed hobo. Well, seeing
that the werewolf idea was a complete fiasco, he
decided that at least he would do a respectable hobo. Just then, the mask started to feel kinda warm, and
started to shift slowly, contorting onto his face.
When Kris noticed it, he scared off and decided to remove the mask, only to find it was already attached to
his head, the edges of the mask fused with the skin
underneath. He tried to scream at the top of his lungs, but somehow the mask absorbed all the noise. His face
started to grow brown fur, and his ears grew
until they were long and pointy. Now a long snout was in place of his mouth, with a cold and wet nose in
front, just as his eyes color changed into amber.
As the mask expanded slowly all over his body, new patches of fur started to grow all over his body; at the
same time the claws merged with the hands, making
those extremely long and sharp claws his own. Kris's body started to swell, as a strong force started to take
over his humanity, as his weak human muscles
started to push into powerful werewolf muscles. As he started to get a hold on his new wolfish face, something
started to invade his brain. As he started to
fight it, the information in his head was been quickly erased: who he was, where he lived, who his friends
were... instead of all that crap, the mask filled
his mind with werewolf thoughts, brainwashing him into believing he was, and he will ever be, a powerful
muscle-bound werewolf. There was nothing more
important that to hunt, to mate, to feed, to form a pack. Kris couldn't do much, as the mask ended up force-
feeding his new werewolf identity, the last remains
of humanity on him disappeared, and his name vanished into nothing. When he looked into the mirror, he could
only see a tall, strong and proud werewolf,
smiling at him in an evil way. Long-forgotten he was a human just a mere couple of minutes before, the newborn
werewolf howled at the top of his new lungs.
