"Ty, time for your football game," you hear your mom say from the next room.
"Coming," you say, and you pause and smile at the low baritone voice you have developed, but the moment passes and you step out of
the closet and into your transformed room. You sit down on your twin bed and take a moment to look around. Although you are good at
many things, the path you chose for yourself was sports, in particular, football. You already had 7 different colleges trying to recruit you
to their teams. On the wall you have a couple of pictures of you playing football, and a couple of Clintwood High spirit items. You see
your lettermans jacket on the floor and immediatly go and pick it up. It was not something that you prefered to treat badly. Your Mom
steps into your room. "You need to get going, you are going to be late, and when was the last time you cleaned your room. It's
discusting!"
You knew she was right, but you didn't care, "I am fine with it the way it is. Now if you will excuse me, I have a game to go to."
Ten minutes later, you are pulling into the highschool parking lot in your red sportscar. Your friends Lucas, Colin, Eric, and Robert are all
waiting for you. "Ready for prom." says Colin.
"Getting close to it, the Limo will be picking us up at A Taste of Rome when we Finnish dinner at 7:00. You can pick up your corsages
at Charline's Floral anytime on Friday or Saturday." you say.
"I can't believe that you got us in to the restraunt with the best Italian dining experience in Maine. And I think having Prom at the
Exclusive Clintwood Golf Resort, and the Hollywood theme just makes the event seem even more exciting!" Eric says.
"Ty, thanks for planning all of this out, we are going to give the girls a night to remember." says Lucas.
"We need to get ready. Remember,if we win this game, we go to the Spring Football Regionals." you say. And with that the five of you
turn and head for the locker room.
