Marcus looked back at the computer and reported, "Looks like there is a time limit." A pop up was on the screen with a countdown. They had exactly 5 hours 59 minutes and 23 seconds and counting left. However, there was a little message at the bottom as a reminder. It read, 'Although it takes six hours to charge, feel free to make any changes you want and save them. Once the timer is up, the Chronivac will instatly put the changes into effect and start the timer over again.'
Jake rubbed his ear lobe with the hand closet to his head, the left hand. It was a habbit that Jake got when he was thinking about something. "Well thats too bad."
"Maybe not" Dan disagreed. "It gives a chance to try this out and to come up with other ideas for changes. Maybe we can set up the next changes for you Marcus. What do you think?"
Marcus's face instatly lit up, his brain started going over all the possible changes he would want to try. "That would be awesome!"
The twins also shared a devious smile, they had a particular change already planned. Jake started, "Well since you changed us..." and Dan continued, "...its only fair if you let us make changes to you." The twin rubbed their hands together as if they were an evil scientist just comming up with his next evil plan. Dan then continued, "Lets see what we can do." At that moment, both twins took a step forward. Something they had not realized yet was that each twin only controlled their side, and their side only. Since they both took a step, they quickly lost balance and fell flat on their faces with a loud thud.
Marcus and the twins instaly burst into laughing. "Sorry guys" he said through fits of laughter. "I-I just didn't... expect you guys... to fall like that. I figured you would be pros considering how in sync you are normally."
The twins slowly worked themselves into a standing postion. "Looks like we're going to need to work on that a bit." Jake smiled. But, suddenly the all the smiles in the room disappeared because the twins' mom had just knocked on their door. They had no clue if the changes changed reality or not. Since Marcus knew they were separated before hand, everyone figured they didn't.
