"What?" the four girls reply almost simultaneously.
"Are you kidding?" asked Nancy.
"Do I look like I'm kidding?" Jennifer replied. "We're not wearing elaborate costumes."
"How did this happen?" Amy asked as she looked her transformed friends over.
"The curse," Susan answered as she climbed back atop her egg subconsiously.
"Who got it first?" Liza asked.
"That little prick Kyle put the curse on me to turn slowly into a cow whenever I'm mean to someone," Jennifer replied.
"That explains what happened to you," Amanda said. "Then how did Susan get turned into a chicken?"
"That's a long story," Susan said. "But you had better choose before it's too late. Or else you get both."
Amanda, Liza, Amy and Nancy looked at each other for a moment then opened their mouths to answer when Susan said, "Too late. Now you all get both."
Jennifer walked over to Susan and whispered in her ear as the four cheerleaders stood expectantly.
"Good thinkin' Jen," Susan said as she turned toward the normal, for the time being, cheerleaders. "First the dare. I dare you all to change us back to normal when
the curse is on you and to strip down naked and stand at attention."
"I can understand the first part of the dare," Amy said as she began removing her clothes. "But why are you having us strip?"
"You'll see in a minute," Susan said as she looked down on her friends from atop her egg. "You'll thank me for it later. Don't believe me? Look at what used to be
my best pair of shoes." Susan then lifted a taloned foot, showing the girls the shreds of her shoes that still clung to her transformed feet.
